👋 About this policy

Gotut Reloaded ("we", "our", "the service") is a subscription video service for MTN Nigeria customers. Subscribers watch videos, answer short quizzes, play 1-v-1 quiz duels against other subscribers, take a daily spin and earn points towards a monthly prize leaderboard. Your MTN number is your account. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

📱 Information we collect

• Phone number — your MTN number identifies your account. We do not ask for passwords, names, email addresses or card details.
• Subscription records — the plan you subscribed to (₦250 daily, ₦350 for 3 days or ₦650 weekly), the amount, billing reference from MTN, start and expiry time, and the number of videos included.
• Activity — videos you unlock and finish, quiz answers and scores, duel answers, scores and timing, daily check-ins and streaks, spin results, and the points each of these earned.
• Comments — text you post under videos.
• Technical data — a session cookie to keep you signed in, and standard web-server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept for security and troubleshooting.

🎯 How we use it

• To check that your plan is active and count the videos left on it.
• To award points, run quizzes and duels, keep your streak and run the daily spin.
• To build the monthly leaderboard and identify prize winners.
• To show your comments and duel results to other subscribers using a masked number (for example 0803***4567).
• To reconcile billing with MTN, prevent abuse and improve the service.

🏆 Prizes

Prize winners are taken from the monthly leaderboard. We may contact winners on the MTN number used in the service to confirm their identity and deliver the prize. We may withhold points or prizes earned through fraud, automation or abuse.

🤝 Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share only what is needed:

• MTN Nigeria and its billing partners — to process subscriptions and charges.
• Other subscribers — masked numbers on leaderboards, comments and duels.
• Authorities — where required by Nigerian law or a valid court order.

💾 Storage & security

Data is stored in a secured database on our servers. We use HTTPS, parameterised database queries, hashed admin passwords and a separate, password-protected admin area. Your device stores only your theme setting and the last number you used, so you can sign in quickly. No security is perfect; if a breach affects your data we will notify you within 72 hours through the service.

⏳ Retention

We keep account and activity records while your account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards for billing reconciliation and prize records, unless the law requires longer.

👶 Children

Gotut Reloaded is for users aged 18 and above (the MTN line holder). If you believe a child is using the service, contact us and we will close the account.

⚖️ Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. You can stop your subscription at any time through MTN. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 5 business days.

🔄 Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
